Samsung has added to its 5G portfolio by introducing the Galaxy A42 5G. The company has shared images of this phone in an announcement. Samsung has shared very few details about this smartphone. The company says they will share all the details closer to the launch later.
The display of this phone is 6.6 inches Super AMOLED. Earlier, Samsung introduced a 1080p display in A41.
The phone’s display will have a waterdrop notch at the top with an under-display fingerprint scanner, which will house the phone’s selfie camera.
The phone will have four cameras on the back, which will be better than A41. The details of these cameras are yet to be revealed. The camera that is visible at the bottom of the pictures is the depth sensor.
As the name suggests, this phone will be Samsung’s cheapest phone with 5G technology. Before this, Samsung’s cheapest phone is the A51 5G. Other specifications of this phone will be revealed shortly before its launch later this year.
Samsung introduced the A40 and A41 in March. Now, Samsung is launching the A42 a year earlier.
